Passionflowers and passionfruit are attractive, edible, and botanically electrifying. 

The Maypop Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a common plant found throughout the southeastern U.S. with eye catching flowers. They also provide food for insects, like the Gulf Fritillary (Dione vanillae).
